This fall, the 80-member choir will Swing in the Holiday Season accompanied by a live big band orchestra!

Artistic Director/Conductor, Raymond Schnurr, has cleverly curated the concert lineup. The evening will feature exciting big band arrangements of many well-known Christmas and holiday classics such as “We Need a Little Christmas”, “Let it Snow”, “Deck the Halls”, “A Peanuts Christmas Medley”, “Carol of the Bells”, and, of course, “Jingle Bells”. On the softer side, the concert will step out of the big band genre to bring you lovely meditative pieces such as "The Beautiful Sing" by Eric William Barnum and an ethereal piano-accompanied arrangement of "Silent Night" by Peter Anglea.

Swing in the Holiday Season comes to the James Armstrong Theatre on Friday and Saturday, December 9 and 10, at 8 p.m. Reserved seating is available at the Armstrong box office at at 3330 Civic Center Dr., via phone at 310-781-7171, and online www.TorranceCA.Gov/TCACTickets. Tickets are $25.
