“A Christmas To Remember”
-- A Resounding Success

On Friday night, December 9th and Saturday night December 10th the Torrance Civic Chorale and Orchestra presented “A Christmas To Remember” in the beautiful James R. Armstrong Theatre in Torrance.

World renowned composer Morten Lauridsen's a cappella "O Magnum Mysterium" and John Rutter’s orchestrated “What Sweeter Music” a\]were balanced with "Masters In This Hall" and "Light Your Christmas" plus many other seasonal favorites.

The Chorale is always thrilled to perform Chanukah selections.  One standard Chorale favorite is Elaine Shaders “Here In My House.”  In addition the Chorale premiered “Hooray For Chanukah” by Paul Zim, from New York and from our neighboring city Long Beach “A Christmas Carol” by David Anthony.
