HOOTENNANY/(Fun)draiser and Karaoke Dinner Party
on Sunday, November 13, 2011 -- A Great Success The
Torrance Chorale Friends held our annual (fun)draiser and dinner party on
Sunday, November 13, 2011. Entertainment included individual performances
(singing) by chorale members and friends -- and Karaoke by
Gayle England. The proceeds from our (Fun)draisers helps the
Chorale to continue to provide the best entertainment we can. Thanks to
all of you who participated in this fun event and/or who made generous contributions/donations to the TCF.

Our
“Spring
Fling (Fun)draiser” |
We
held our Spring Fling (Fun)draiser on Sunday, April 10, 2011
at the
El
Torito Grill on Restaurant Row in
Torrance. It was a truly painless way to
support the chorale,
enjoy excellent food and
have a GREAT time. As always, we ate eat our fill of great food, drank whatever
we could, and sang Karaoke songs

until the
"wee" hours (8:00 p.m.). And the best part is - the El Torito Grill
donates 25% of
the total of all the checks (excluding taxes and drinks), from our members and friends, to the Torrance Civic Chorale Friends.
It really is a painless way to have fun and pick up a little funding for the Chorale.

Europe 2009

Many of our Chorale Members
recently returned from what we are told was a fantastic trip to Europe. They traveled to Salzburg and sang with 300 to 400
other choristers in the Cantus Salisburgensis Choral Festival. Following the
festival, they traveled on to Budapest then to Vienna. Don't you wish you
had joined them? Maybe next trip. See Leipzig 2011
